Sharp!

This is going to be a great shoe for next fall and winter.

It was not what I expected. Did not care for the look.

Well-made, quality stitching and leather, super comfortable, lightweight and goes with everything

I ended up buying these in both black and brown. I’m particularly picky about the color brown I was looking for in a Chelsea boot and these are exactly it. The brown is just the right shade, not too red/warm, or grey/cool, or light or dark, but still a rich color with some depth, and the color really is exactly as pictured in the photos. They are also lighter weight than I was expecting, without feeling flimsy or cheap, with a flexible soul and much more comfortable footbed than some other quality brands. The leather is soft, somewhat flexible, but still sturdy, the stitching is perfect on both pairs, the plastic sides stretch but seem durable and hold their shape, and they basically go with everything, dressed up or down. The heel is slightly shorter than I expected, but honestly I’m glad, since the height is enough f to keep my pants from hitting the floor (at 5’2”) and I can still stand and walk all day without any fatigue or foot pain that comes with taller heels. And was able to do so from day one, with no uncomfortable breaking-in period. Also true to size. I wear a 7 or 7.5 (regular- not wide or narrow) depending on the style of shoe (generally 7.5 for boots) and the 7.5 fits perfectly with no heel slipping or tight toes, both with thinner socks and regular/slightly thicker ones (haven’t tried super thick socks with them, but don’t need to). These are totally a staple shoe.

Very well made

This is a really nice boot and very well made. Unfortunately I have a slight foot and this boot needs something a little heftier to carry the weight of it. I really liked it, so sorry I had to return it. I
